Arrow Consulting is seeking an entrepreneurial-minded Clinical Director to spearhead the launch and growth of an innovative outpatient substance use treatment program for adults (18+). This is a unique opportunity for a leader with strong clinical expertise, business acumen, and financial competency to build and shape a program from the ground up while establishing its reputation in the community.

Clinical Director Salary = $95,000 - $125,000
Clinical Director Responsibilities:
  • Strategic & Business Leadership: Develop and implement a sustainable business model while ensuring the highest standards of care.
  • Operational & Financial Oversight: Manage budgeting, billing processes, and financial performance metrics to optimize the program’s success.
  • Community & Referral Engagement: Act as one of the primary representatives of the organization, fostering relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, and stakeholders.
  • Program Development: Establish and refine clinical programming, policies, and workflows to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Team Building & Supervision: Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing clinical team, providing supervision and mentorship.
  • Client Care & Quality Assurance: Carry a small caseload in the initial phases, ensuring quality service delivery while monitoring staff adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and use utilization review insights to enhance program effectiveness.
Clinical Director Qualifications:
  • Master’s Degree in a Behavioral Health-related field.
  • Licensure (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent).
  • Supervisory Experience: Minimum 2 years leading clinical teams.
  • Behavioral Health Experience: At least 5 years in Mental Health and/or Substance Use Treatment (preferably outpatient).
  • Business & Financial Acumen: Experience with start-up operations, budgeting, and strategic planning.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with ASAM criteria, DSM guidelines, and payer requirements.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: A track record of building or expanding behavioral health programs is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional Leadership & Communication: Ability to inspire teams, engage stakeholders, and promote a mission-driven culture.
